Linda J Stewart

Linda J Stewart 75, of West Salem, Ohio died on July 4, 2023 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio. She was born at Wooster Hospital on July 12, 1947 to parents Elmer and Margaret (Bates) Yoho. Linda took care of her family and she worked at Gruter Foundation in Wooster for 11 years. After working at Gruter’s she worked other small jobs. Linda enjoyed crocheting, especially her blankets, swinging on her swing, playing her computer card games and spending time with her grandson.

She leaves behind her daughter: Joanne Stewart; grandson: Michael Burns, of the home; two sisters: Lorena (Phillip) Crosby of West Salem and Mary Adkins of Wooster; lots of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil; son: David; two brothers: Carlin Yoho and Charles Yoho and her parents.

There will be a Memorial Graveside Service on Friday, July, 28th, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Congress Cemetery with Pastor Tadd Sponseller officiating the service. If you have a photo or a memory to share you may do so at mattesonfh.com. Matteson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
