Larry Locklear, 73 of West Salem died Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Lodi Community Hospital.

He was born February 10, 1943 in Lumberton, North Carolina the son of Walter and Maggie (Chaves) Locklear.
He had worked for Carpenters Union Local 285/639 of Akron He was a member of Medina County Coon Club and New Philadelphia Coon Club.
Larry enjoyed hunting and making dog benches.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kay (Roberts) Locklear whom he married August 3, 1963, sons, Steve and Mark Locklear of West Salem and Jeffrey Locklear of Texas,
10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a sister, Maggie Stringer of Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents and ten brothers and sisters died previously.
