June Spice

June Spice, 93 of West Salem died Friday September 30, 2022 at Burbank Parke Care Center in Burbank.

She was born September 3, 1929 in Lima, Ohio the daughter of Russell and Mary (Griffin) Pummell.

June was owner and operator of the Shady Glen Tavern in Lodi, Ohio for 40 years where she prepared delicious meals for her customers.

She liked crossword puzzles, watching Crime stories on TV and smoking cigarettes.

June is survived by her daughter; Charlene Siegenthaler, grandchildren; Richard Siegenthaler and Tricia (Tony) Brown, great grandchildren; Anthony and Jagger Brown, Macyn, Jaxon, Griffin and Camden Siegenthaler.

She is preceded in death by first husband; Howard Spice, second husband; Samuel Buchanan, parents, brothers; Russell, Walter and Garner Pummell and a sister; Irene Matusavage .
