June R Roper

June Roper 91 of West Salem, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, December 20th surrounded by the love of her family.

June was born on May 11, 1930 to Charles and Venetia Kobb in Lodi, Ohio. She married Senter Robert Roper Jr. (Bob) on March 11, 1955. He preceded her in death July 8, 1983.

She loved her family dearly and unconditionally including her 9 children: Terry Roper, Rob (Sandy), Rick (Gail), Tim (Jan), Linda, Venetia Roper, Charmaine (Phillip) Welch, Sheila (Chuck) Lewis, Estelle (Shawn) Troyan, 26 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

June was preceded in death also by her parents, 2 brothers, 2 grandkids and 2 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for June will be held on December 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Dave Purdy officiating. Visitation for June will be held at 10:00 am prior to the services. Burial will be held at Litchfield Cemetery following the services.
