Judith Ann Altfather, 78 of Mt Vernon died Friday March 17, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Graveside Services will be Tuesday March 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Polk Cemetery with Pastor Tim Simmons officiating. There will be no calling hours. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is handling the arrangements Online condolences may be shared at the funeral home website at mattesonfh.com..
She was born August 24, 1938 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio the daughter of Nevin and Viola (Sechler) Altfather. Judith had worked at the New Hope Workshop in Mt Vernon.
She liked horses and enjoyed the Lawrence Welk Show and Western Movies.
She is survived by her brother, Daniel (Sue) Altfather of Polk and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents and an infant brother died previously.
