John J (Tool) Wuthrich 79 of Sullivan died Sat Feb. 11, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be Thursday Feb. 16, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastors Bradley Kelley and Robert Holmes officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Homerville.

He was born July 30, 1932 in East Union the son of John U and Lena (Calame) Wuthrich.
He served in the US Navy and attended the Grace Brethren Church.
He retired in 1991 from Ford Motor Co in Brookpark after 36 years.
He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a lifelong farmer and mechanic.
He is survived by his wife Charlene (Brinker) Wuthrich whom he married Oct. 19, 1957.
Daughters- Sherry Wuthrich of Sullivan, Shelly (Tim) Simmons of Sullivan, Sharon (Tom) Grim of Ashland and Sandra (Robert) Derrick of Sullivan.
Eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Three sisters Bertha Caesar and Esther (Dean) Schempp of Lodi and Nora (Carl) McQuate of West Salem.
Four brothers Daniel (Linda) Wuthrich of Homerville, Richard (Mary) Wuthrich of Burbank, David (Sandra) Wuthrich of Wellington and Donald (Donna) Wuthrich of Greenwich.
His parents, grandson Shane Simmons and a brother Bob Wuthrich died previously.
