John D. Sharp

John D. Sharp 60, of Sterling, Ohio passed away after a six months battle with cancer on June 5, 2023 at his home surrounded by family and friends.  He was born in Cowen, WV on April 14, 1963 to parents Dayton & Annetta (Cochran) Sharp. He served in the US Army. He was stationed in Egypt, Panama and Saudi Arabia. He was employed by Ron Burge Trucking in Burbank, Ohio. Where he was a truck driver for ten years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley Motorcycle and four wheeling in WV.

He leaves behind his sisters: Paulette Mann (Mark) of Sterling, Diane (John) Roberts of Burbank and Nancy Fulk (Curt) of Rittman; nieces and nephew: Crystal Ryan, Tiffany Scheutzow, Jodi Long, Jessica Peters, Bethany Fulk, Skylar Peters, Jonathon Mann and Melinda Christensen and many friends. Special thanks to Tracy, Bill, Linda, Derek, Ralph Chris and Curtiss for all the support and friendship. He was preceded in death by his parents.
