John A Kaiser

John A Kaiser 80 of West Salem died August 16th, 2018 at Burbank Parke Care Center. John was born in Fairchance, PA on January 20th, 1938, the son of Charles and Nellie (Bowman) Kaiser.

John served in the US Navy from 1956-1959.

He had been employed  at General Motor in Parma for over 30 years. John was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Lorain. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Bittinger Cemetery in Maryland. John is survived by his  children: Leonard (Michele) Kaiser, Wellington and Robin L Kaiser, West Salem; 4 Grandchildren: Matt (Ashley) Kaiser, Jessica Salem, Julie Firebaugh, Alivea Tenoschok and 10 grandchildren.  9 siblings: Ewing (Lee) Kaiser, Elyria, OH; Eleanor Joseph, Cleveland, OH; Pearl (Jim) Keifer, Georgia; Ethel (Darwin) Cunning Ham, Fairchance, PA; Katie(Jim) Dice, Uniontown, PA; Jo Ann Intorria, Fairchance, PA; Susie (Fred) Skoda, Fairchance, PA; Jack (Mary) Ann Kaiser of Fairchance, PA and Margie (Rich) Coddington, Somerset, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Kaiser, who died in 2015, a son, John Wayne Kaiser, his parents, Charles (Nellie) Kaiser,  sisters, Edith Hughes, Marie Myers, Ruth Ann Riba and a brother, Charles Kaiser.  Matteson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
