John Robert George “Bob”, 78 of Wooster died Sunday August 9, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster.
Funeral Services will be Thursday August 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial in West Salem Cemetery where military rite will be conducted by James Stevenson American Legion Post 499. He was born June 5, 1937 in Lasing, Ohio the son of Chriss & Goldie (Nagy) George Sr.
He served in the US Air Force.
Bob had been employed at Stanadyne in Elyria forth 18 years and he retired from Liverpool Coil in Valley City.
He was a past member of the Creston Moose and Eagles.
He is survived by daughters, Kimberly (Bob) Strauss, Monique George and Sonata (Stan) Black, a son Joe George, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a sister, Mary Crebs and nieces and nephews
His wife, Beverly, daughter, Pauline, parents, brothers, Richard and Chriss George died previously
