Joanne E. Stewart 52, of West Salem died on Saturday July 22, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic. She was born on February 18, 1971 in Wooster, Ohio. To parents Cecil and Linda (Yoho) Stewart. She graduated Northwestern High School in 1990. Joanne was a homemaker all her life.

She was an avid smoker, enjoyed taking care of her house plants, baking and she took great pride in taking care of her mother and son.

Visitation will be Thursday July 27th, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home. The graveside service will be on Friday 28th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Congress Cemetery with Pastor Tadd Sponseller officiating.

She is survived by her son Michael Burns, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Allen Stewart. Online condolences or photos of Joanne may be shared at mattesonfh.com.
