Jo Ann (Heifner) Richards

Jo Ann Richards 83 of Sullivan, Ohio died Saturday morning October 1, 2016 at Brethren Care Nursing Center in Ashland.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday October 5, 2016 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating.  Friends will be received two hours prior to the services on Wednesday.  Burial will be in South View Cemetery in Sullivan.  Online condolences may be shared at mattesonfh.com

She was born September 11, 1933 in Lodi, Ohio the daughter of Gail and Eldora(Koons) Heifner.

She was a homemaker all her life.

She is survived by daughters, Patti (Dick)Guyer of Seville and Laura(Tim)Usher of Ashland, grandchildren, Julie(Mike)Scanlan, Jason(Kelsey)Guyer, Travis(Liz)Usher, Kristen(Josh)Garn and Kelly(Casey)Cooke, great grandchildren, Caroline and Jack Scanlan, Aiden Knapp, Xander Usher, Kylie and Rowyn Garn and Olivia Cooke, brother-in-law, John Richards, six nieces and a nephew

Her husband, James A Richards, whom she married December 19, 1954,  died on July 24, 2005 and a sister, Lucille Messer preceded her in death
