Jeanette L Hayes, 86, of Polk formerly of Rock Cave, West Virginia died Saturday July 13, 2013 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland.
Funeral services will be Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Chaplain Sandy Lauer officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home two hour prior to the services . Burial in Pleasant Dale Cemetery in Selbyville, West Virginia. She was born January 10, 1927 in Monongalia County , West Virginia the daughter of Norman Dale and Goldie (Lee) Hayes.
She enjoyed crocheting and painting and was a homemaker all her life.
She was a member of Salem Ridge Church in West Virginia.
She is survived by children- Joan (Allen) Blodgett of Polk, Garry (Laura) Moore of Lorain, Richard (Lillie) Moore of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Marjo (Bobbie) Miller of Sullivan and Cathy (Abedallah) Kalbani of Virginia, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings June (Genie) Hayes of Ashland, Joan (Ford) Rice of Collins, Ohio and Bonnie Vallelonga of Fairmont, West Virginia.
Her parents and three siblings, Georgia Lantz, Elwood and James Hayes died previously.
