Jean J. (Mcferren) Stahl

Jean J. Stahl formerly of West Salem died Monday August 11, 2025 at Brethren Care in Ashland, Ohio. She was born February 15, 1935 in Lodi, Ohio to parents Glenn & Catherine Marie ( Metcalf) McFerren. She worked as a homemaker her whole life. Jean was a member of the 50+ Club and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, traveling, sudoku puzzles, following the Ashland girls basketball and softball teams.

Jean leaves behind her two children Ron (Rhonda) Stahl of Wooster and Lynne Stahl of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Stahl, on December 27, 2011 and her parents.

The funeral service for Jean will be Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM, located at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will follow the services at West Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
