Janice L Nichols

Janice Lucille (Edwards) Nichols, 10/14/1940, passed away unexpectantly at her home on 6/24/20.   She walked hand in hand with the love of her life Kenneth “Kenny” Nichols for 60 years.  She is also survived by son, Michael (Becky) Nichols of Ashland; daughter, Kris (Bruce) Sherrick of Illinois; daughter, Michelle (Jarrod) Fry of Medina; brother, Dennis (Marcia) Edwards of Nova.  Janice loved spoiling and taking care of her 9 grandchildren; Jeremy (Ikumi) Nichols, Joe (Kathleen) Nichols, Michael Nichols, Emily (Joe) Lynch, Jonathan Sherrick, Claire Sherrick, Matthew Fry, Emma Fry and Abigail Fry; 4 great grandchildren, Katelyn, Kai, Gabriel and Remington Nichols.  Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Mildred Edwards; brothers, Ira Duane Edwards and Francis Edwards.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made in her honor to the The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center, Ashland, Ohio. Matteson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
