Janet E Messenger

Janet E. Messenger, 75 of Litchfield formerly of West Salem died on June 14, 2021 at Akron General Medical Center. Janet was born September 8, 1945 to parents William and Olive (Riegel) Garnes in Portland, Oregon. Janet was a Rehabilitation Nurse at the Wayne County Care Center for 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.

Janet leaves behind her siblings: Karen Nunez of Wooster, John (Debbie) Garnes of Wooster, Gary (Patricia) Garnes of Wooster and Linda Garnes of Lakewood; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Messenger in 2012; sisters: Jill Pipher & Donna McKinney; and brother-in-law: Manuel Nunez.

There will be a Graveside Service for Janet in West Salem Cemetery on Saturday July 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Celebrant, Victoria Devore officiating.
