James Reinhardt

James Reinhardt 75 of Homerville died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Lodi Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 13, 1937 in West Salem the son of Frederick S. and Margaret B. (nee Howman) Reinhardt.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Had worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Jim was an active member of Homerville Ruritans and Homerville United Methodist Church. He was a very caring person.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Marburger Reinhardt, whom he married Sept. 30, 1997; his son Aaron (Julie) Reinhardt of Homerville; five stepchildren, Mark Schmidt of Asheville, N.C., Paul (Danielle) Schmidt of Cumming, Ga., John (Linda) Schmidt of Spartanburg, S.C., Joy (Glenn) Schrader of Hilton Head, S.C. and Beth (John) Pratt of Athens; along with 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jan Reinhardt of Wellington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Ruth Reinhardt; a half brother; Nelson Reinhardt and a half siter, Adelyle Van Buskirk.
Services will take place 11 a.m. Monday November 26, 2012, at Homerville United Methodist Church with Pastor Cheryl Roshon and Pastor Pat Edington officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
Friends may visit with family 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday Nov. 25, 2012 at Matteson Funeral Home, West Salem.
