James A Pierson

January 7, 1963 — May 10, 2020

James A. Pierson, of Seville, Ohio passed away on Sunday May 10, 2020. He was born January 7, 1963 in Elyria, Ohio to James and Norma Pierson. He graduated from Northwestern High School in West Salem, OH in 1981.

After serving in the U.S. Army, James worked jobs that kept him on the road most of the time. He preferred jobs that offered solitude and allowed him to keep moving. He also worked as an app developer.

While James was always very quiet, he had a sense of humor he shared with those he loved. He was generous with family and friends and was never too busy to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed sharing his love of music, tech gadgets, and popcorn with his friends and family.

He leaves behind a father, James, and stepmother, Anna of West Virginia; a brother, Mike, of Pennsylvania; a sister, Laura Smith and her husband Larry and their two children, Garrett and Brenna, all of Missouri; and two stepbrothers, Rob Johnston and his children, of Colorado and Chuck Johnston and his family, of North Carolina; and many more cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma (Draper) Pierson, and a brother, Rodney Pierson.  A graveside memorial service is planned for June 13, 2020 at 1 p.m. at West Salem Cemetery, West Salem, Ohio for all family and friends.
