Iva Jean Hines, 80, died Friday November 22, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday November 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mohican Church of the Brethren with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be at Mohican Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Memorial may be given to Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 North Elyria Road, West Salem, Ohio 44287. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family with the arrangements. Iva was born July 24, 1933 in Chester Twp. To Howard and M. Leola (Kamp) Kolp Sr. and married Marion (Bud) Hines Feb. 14, 1953. He died May 15, 1985.
She worked for Northwestern School District and retired from Wayne County Clerk of Courts (Auto Title Office).
She was a member of the Mohican Church of the Brethren, volunteered for Wooster Community Hospital Auxiliary, member of Order of Eastern Star, Garfield Chapter 324, and Red Hat Society of West Salem, and JAPC Club of Ashland, Ohio.
Surviving are children Debra (James) Veigl and Brenda(Brett) Morris, grandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Christopher and Troy Veigl, great granddaughters, Ariel M and Kelly Veigl all of the Lattasburg area,
Sister, Florence Jacobs and brother Howard (Florence) Kolp Jr.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister Treva Ward.
