Howard E Canfield Sr

Howard E Canfield Sr., 66 of Sullivan died June 1, 2019 at his home.

He was born November 13, 1952 in Lodi the son of Howard & Mary (Norris) Canfield.

Howard served in the US Army from 1971 to 1973 stationed in Korean during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Premium Building Products after 34 years of service.

He was a member of the Wellington American Legion and the VFW.

Howard in survived by his children, Howard (Misty) Canfield Jr of Sullivan, Brent (Shannon) Canfield of Perrysville, Stephanie Canfield of Savannah and Dawn Grubbs of Burton, Michigan, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Jeff Canfield, James (Sandy) Canfield, Ronald Canfield and Donald (Elizabeth) Canfield and a sister, Sandy Jason.

His parents, sister, Mary Canfield and a brother, John Canfield died previously.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday June 4, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Glen Goff officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Rittman Cemetery where military rites with be conducted by James Stevenson American Post 499 of West Salem  and the Patriot Guards.
