Gladys E (Stuart) Gilbert

Gladys E. Gilbert beloved mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on July 16, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Home in Ashland at the age of 91.
Private family memorial service will be Friday July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jon G Vance officiating. Burial of the ashes in Polk Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of North central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805 or Pythian Sisters home of Ohio c/o Jeannine Grieve, 215 South Main Street, Spencer, Ohio 44275.
She was born Jan. 4, 1920 in Medina Co. the daughter of Paul & Dora (Fetzer) Stuart.
She was a homemaker all her life.
She was a 50 year member of the Pythian Sisters and the Lodi Hospital Aux. She was president serving on the board of Pythian Sisters Home in Medina. She enjoyed needlework and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Constance Seal of Lodi, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Her parents, husband Millard,a brother Karl Stuart and son in law Tom Seal died previously.
