Geraldine Dorsey

Geraldine Dorsey, 94 of Ashland  died Monday September 17, 2018 at Kingston of Ashland.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday evening September 19, 2018 at 8:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home, West Salem with Rev Hershal  (Pete) Underwood officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home two hours prior to the services. Graveside Services will be at Mt Tabor Cemetery in Beckley, W. Virginia on Thursday September 20, 2018 at 11:30 AM.

Geraldine was born May 4, 1924 in Colcord, West Virginia the daughter of Lud & Mae Thompson (Bowen) Jarrell. She moved to Cleveland in 1964.

She had word at Keifer’s Restaurant and Stella Maris as a cook & kitchen Supervisor.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking and doing crafts.

Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Millie Merriman and a son, Jody Jarrell of Newburg Heights, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Her parents, a daughter, Artie Kelly, a son, Donald Jarrell, seven sisters and two brothers died previously.
