George T. Wood

George T. Wood, 64, of Wakeman died on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the home of George W. and Nancy Wood Jr. in Burbank.  George T. was born to his parents, James and Jeanette (Wooten) Wood on July 26, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio.

He served in the US Air Force and then worked for Spectrum as a fiber technician. He was a member of the Wakeman Eagles #4354 where he was a past president. He enjoyed bowling, motorcycles and vegetable gardening.

He leaves behind two sons, Justin Wood and Anthony Wood; brother: Bud (Kim) Wood; grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Diane; brother: Jim Wood and his parents.

There will be a celebration of life service on June 16, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 PM at Wakeman Eagles 35 E. Main Street Wakeman, Ohio 44889.
