Frederick H Schoemaker

Frederick Herman Schoemaker, age 67, passed away on August 4, 2024 at his home in Lakeville, Ohio. He was born on August 24, 1956 in Goderich, Ontario to the late Gerrit and Helena Schoemaker.

Fred had many passions in life, including fishing, hunting, golfing, landscaping, and collecting. His skills as a salesman and tradesman took him to various places he called home, including Ontario, Canada, Alaska, Michigan, and Ohio. He lived out his final years in Ohio where he was a member of the Emanuel Old Stone Church.

Fred is survived by his beloved family: his daughter, Janna Schoemaker, and his grandson, Syre. He also leaves behind his siblings: Richard Schoemaker (Monique), Kathleen Bruinsma (Jeff),

Marjorie Schoemaker, and Alex Schoemaker (Luz) as well as many nieces and nephews. Fred also leaves behind many friends and extended family who will cherish his memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Fred's life will be held at Emanuel Old Stone Church on Saturday, August 10th at 4:30pm with Pastor Bill Moorman officiating.

Fred will always be remembered for his giving spirit, serving heart, love for Jesus and family, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. May he rest in peace.
