Esther Pauline Imhoff, 95, of Polk passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Pauline was born March 16, 1930 to Carl and Lucile (McFadden) Schar. She graduated from Congress High School in 1948. On June 2, 1948 she married Ronald Dean Imhoff. Dean preceded her in death on December 25, 1996.
Pauline and Dean loved spending the winter in Lake Worth, Florida. In the summer you could find them boating at Pleasant Hill Lake. Pauline moved to Boynton Beach, Florida full time after Dean’s passing. She loved sitting by the pool with a good book.
Pauline will be missed by her sons; Mike (Linda), Jerry (Barb) and Jeff (Vicki) Imhoff all of Polk; grandchildren Eric (Tanya) Imhoff, Daniel (Rachel) Imhoff, Angela (Brian) Gilbert, Jason (Sunshine) Imhoff, Jen (Keegan) Boucek, Brett (Mallory) Imhoff and Jamie (Logan) Walter; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean; her brother, Charles (Jean) Schar and an infant granddaughter, Melissa Imhoff.
Pauline’s funeral service will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Chaplin Dave Matis will be officiating the service. Burial will take place at Redhaw Cemetery.
