Ervin (Gene) Horst, 66 of West Salem died Saturday September 19, 2015 at Hospice of Medina County.
Memorial Service will be Friday September 25, 2015 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Mohican Church of the Brethren with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Rd, Medina, OH 44256.

He was born March 23, 1949 in Lodi the son of Daniel and Kathryn (Gable) Horst.
He retired from Hydromatic Pump in Ashland. Gene was a member of Mohican Church of the Brethren where he served as a deacon.
He loved hunting and fishing with grandchildren and going to Alexis’s soccer games.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie (McDougale) Horst whom he married August 16, 1970, children, Brian (Tami) Horst of West Salem and Brandy (Steve) Martin of Polk, four grandchildren, Alexis and Landen Horst and Troy and Dallas Martin, brothers, Max (Becky) Horst of West Salem and Leonard (Bonnie) Horst of Clearwater, Florida.
His parents died previously
