Eric Sean Webb

Eric Sean Webb, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the Sanctuary in Wadsworth, Ohio. Born on April 19, 1978, in Wooster, Ohio to parents; Robert and Janet (Crabtree) Webb Sr., Eric's journey through life was marked by warmth, unwavering kindness, and a genuine appreciation for the people around him.

A proud graduate of Northwestern High School in 2000, Eric cherished his roots in Wooster. He found fulfillment in his work at Nick Amster, Inc., where he dedicated himself to sorting papers. His commitment to his job was matched only by his vibrant personality and the camaraderie he shared with those alongside him.

Eric’s generous and loving spirit was most evident in the relationships he held close to his heart. He especially adored his nieces and nephews, often delighting them with laughter, kindness, and encouragement. His loving nature extended to all who knew him.

Eric loved adventure and fun. He treasured memories such as a memorable motorcycle trip to Florida and a visit to Disney World—moments that captured his love of excitement and togetherness. His hobbies brought him great joy: white water rafting, singing karaoke, dancing, and riding the side by side were among his favorites. He also had a fondness for simple pleasures, often enjoying Coca-Cola and wine coolers while watching wrestling or spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Webb, who remained a constant source of support and love throughout his life. Eric is also survived by his brother, Robert Webb Jr., and his many adored nieces and nephews, for whom he was an inspiration and pillar of affection.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Webb, and his sister, Tonya Webb, both of whom he held dearly in his heart.

Those wishing to pay their respects to Eric are invited to attend the visitation one hour prior to the service at Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress St, West Salem, OH 44287. The funeral service will be held 12:00PM at Matteson Funeral Home with Pastor Don Thompson officating the service, followed by burial at Congress Cemetery (West Salem), 11001 Stratton Road, West Salem, OH 44287.  Memorial may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O.
