Elsie M (Wise) Mckeal

Elsie M. McKeal, 96 of Wooster died Monday November 4, 2019 at Danbury of Wooster.

She was born July 2, 1923 in Belmont County, Ohio the daughter of Luther and Maggie (Kurth) Wise.

Elsie graduated from Congress High School in 1941.

She married Floyd McKeal on February 1, 1941 he preceded her in death on August 7, 1997.

Elsie was a homemaker, 4-H advisor and a quilter where she made many quilts over the years.

She was a member of Congress Community Church, and Congress Grange.

She had previously worked at Northwestern High School as a cook for 21 years.

Elsie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marcia (Roger) Frank of Wooster, grandsons, Ernest Frank and Aaron (Allanya) Frank, great grandsons, Jacob and Isaac, siblings, Gertrude Baer, James (Judy) Wise, George (Shirley) Wise all of Wooster, Kenneth (Nancy) Wise of Burbank and Hazel Willett of Greenwich.

Along with her husband, Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, Fred, Frank, Charles, Roy and Ross Wise.

Funeral Service will be Saturday November 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Chaplin Richard Holcker and Celebrant Victoria Devore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial in Congress Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio  44691.
