Eleanor L (Dumke) Repp

Eleanor L Repp (Dumke) daughter of Erich & Louise Dumke, born October 9, 1918 in Cleveland died June 18, 2011 at age 92 in Ashland. She attended Wellington High School. She graduated from the Mansfield School of Cosmetology in 1955, owned and operated Eleanor Beauty Chatue until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of the Eastern Star Garfield # 324 of West Salem, Ohio. She was worthy matron in 1954 and 1981 with her husband Sanford Repp then again in 2001 at the age of 83 with Carl Zemancik. She was grand page to Janice Harmych who was Grand Esther of Grand chapter Ohio in 1985. Eleanor served as district # 4 president Association of chapters in 1996.
Surviving are children S Thomas (Lucretia) Repp of Lodi, Patricia (David) Kellogg of Blacksburg, Virginia, Ernest (Donna) Repp of Finksburg, Maryland and David (Jenny) Repp of Mansfield., 14 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Three sisters Elizabeth Gimmel of Norwalk, Edna Hill of Wellington and Elsie Hamond of Lorain and a brother Erich Dumke of Las Vegas.
Funeral service will be Thursday June 23, 2011 at 11:00 at the Christ United Methodist Church, 1140 Claremont Avenue in Ashland with Rev. James Cox officiating. Friends will be received Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 at the Matteson funeral Home, 40 East Congress Street in West Salem where Eastern Star service will be conducted at 8:00. Burial in Ashland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805 or Christ United Methodist Church, 1140 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
Her husband Sanford, three sisters Thelma, Elaine and Dorris and a brother Arther died previously
