Edward T. Gavin, 55, of West Salem died Wednesday morning, November 20th, 2019 at Samaritan Health System in Ashland. He was born to parents Terrance and Sandra (Fusco) Gavin in Berea on September 27th, 1964. He graduated from Black River High School. He married his loving wife Mary on April 24th 1991 and they have three beautiful children together. Edward worked as an associate at Lowe’s in Wooster.

In Ed’s spare time he enjoyed playing video games and online gaming with his wife Mary. He loved listening to music especially rock music and less known bands. Even though he had given up on the Browns and the Cavs he still loved watching the Indians play baseball.

Ed leaves behind his wife Mary; Three Children Rachael Gavin, Gabriel Gavin, Alexandra Gavin; Granddaughter Abigail; Brothers, Paul Gavin & Joseph Gavin; Parents, Terrance (Penny) Gavin & Sandra (Ronnie) Hanshaw; two step sisters, Denise & Debbie.

There will be a memorial graveside service at West Salem Cemetery with Father Thomas Stock officiating. Everyone will meet at the Funeral Home at 11:00 on Friday, November 29th, 2019 and process over to West Salem Cemetery together and meet underneath the pavilion at 11:15.
