Earl E Conaway Sr

Earl E Conaway Sr., 85 of Burbank died at his home on Sunday August 4th, 2019. Earl was born on May 31st, 1934 to parents Jack & Nettle Conaway in Satillo, Ohio. He served in the United States Marine Corps and earned the National Defense Medal. He married his wife Gloria on July 4th, 1957. He was an auctioneer for 40 years and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, family and playing slot machines. Earl is survived by 3 children, Earl (Linda) Conaway Jr. of Burbank, Karl (Donna) Conaway of Apple Creek, Patty (Dan) Delarosa of Burbank; 8 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, 2 grandchildren, a great grandson, twin sister Pearl, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Jerry Arman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Burbank Cemetery where  military rites will be conducted by James Stevenson American Legion Post 499 of West Salem.  Those who wish to share a memory or make an online condolence may do so by visiting mattesonfh.
