Dorothy E Gift, 82 of Congress died Friday August 22, 2014 at Akron City Hospital in Akron.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday August 26, 2014 @ 11:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem.
Friends will be received Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Congress Cemetery.

She was born June 4, 1932 in Lodi, Ohio the daughter of William & Goldie (Lowe) Weber.
Dorothy retired from Johnson Brothers Rubber Company in West Salem after 20 years. Then she and her husband drove as a team for Panther Transportation for 8 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald P Gift whom she married Sept. 11, 1953, five children, Butch (Penny) Gift of Medina, Tina Gift, Jeff Gift, and Cherri Estep all of Congress, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a sister Betty Wightman of Congress.
Her parents, a son, Dennis, infant daughter Dedra and 4 brothers died previously.
