Dorothy J (Mandley) Bunyak

Dorothy J Bunyak, 88 of West Salem died Wednesday January 22, 2020 at  Burbank Parke Care Center, Burbank.

She was born May 27, 1931 in Parma the daughter of Charles and Anna (Baltitus) Mandley.

She married Leonard J Bunyak Sr on October 22, 1956. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2019.

Dorothy was a homemaker and 4-H advisor in Medina County for many years. She enjoyed  teaching the children  how to accomplish goals through their 4-H projects. She raised horses  on their farm where she enjoyed going horseback riding.

She is survived by her sons, Leonard Bunyak Jr., Doug Bunyak who she raised and Carl Bunyak, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sue Arnold, grandson, PJ, a brother and a sister.

A Memorial Service will be Friday March 6, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Celebrant, Victoria M. Devore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
