Dolores (Dolly) Ann Repp,

It is with deep sorrow we announce the death of Dolores Ann Repp, of West Salem, Ohio, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 88. Dolores or “Dolly” as she was known to friends, was born in West Salem, Ohio on July 1, 1932. She was born to Faye (Hill) & Leo Pierce. She graduated from West Salem High School in 1950. She and Ralph J. Farner were married on March 25, 1951. Together they had four children: Tamara (Dennis) Swerline, Bradford (Amy) Farner, Jeffery (Joyce) Farner, and Rodney (Kimberly) Farner. This includes a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a beloved brother, Arthur Pierce who resides in Ventura, California. Dolores began working in the Post Office in the mid 60’s as a substitute mail clerk, and progressed to full time employment. This culminated in her becoming the Postmaster at West Salem until transferring to a new post in Morenci Arizona, in 1980. Dolly was an active member of the Eastern Stars in West Salem, as well as in Morenci & Ajo, Arizona. She will be missed by family and friends. At her request, no services will be held and a private memorial service will be held for family at a later date.
