Diana L (Domanic) Palmer

Diana L Palmer 65, of Burbank died on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at her home  after a long battle with a variant of ALS known as Progressive Bulbar Palsy. She was born on December 7, 1957 in Wooster, Ohio to parents Leo & Nellie (Rhein) Domanic. She married the love of her life Terry Palmer June 11, 1977, exactly one year after they met. She retired from Akron Children’s Hospital as a registered medical assistant in late 2019.

Diana loved all kinds of crafting, her flower gardens, puzzles, playing cards especially Skip-Bo because she is the champ, going to church, traveling with her husband to all 50 states, and her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

Diana leaves behind her loving husband Terry Palmer; children: Tammy Adams of Wooster and Andrew (Becky) Palmer of Seattle; grandchildren: Amber, Kylie, Kody and Sophie; great grandchildren: Brynn, Mila and Easton and sisters: Fran Bowling of Texas and Betty Moore of Wooster; many cousins, nephews, friends and dog, Kaiser. She was preceded in death by her son, Joey; her parents; brother, George (Butch) Domanic.

The funeral for Diana will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00PM located at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, Ohio with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating the service. Burial will follow in Congress Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 17, 2023 from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at the funeral home.
