Dennis E McKenzie Jr, 28 of Polk died Tuesday August 22, 2017 from injuries sustained in an accident on interstate I-71.
Funeral Services will be Saturday August 26, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Floyd Costello officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the services. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Homerville. Memorials may be given to the family in care of the funeral home. He was born June 23, 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Dennis and Toni (Cash) McKenzie Sr.
He had been employed at Love’s Travel Stop in Burbank.
His hobbies included collecting hot wheels, Camaro cars and guns.
He is survived by his son, Kaiden who was the love of his life, mother and step father, Toni (Richard)Eichel of Polk, father and step mother Dennis(Melissa)McKenzie Sr of Arkansas, his son, Kaiden Earl McKenzie, siblings, Veronica Genovesi, Richard Cody, Audra Lynn Swaisgood and Melissa Rose McKenzie, grandparents, Jon(Retha)Bloomer and Rosie Cash, step siblings, Stacey(Brian)Ries, Sandy(Ryan)Bauman, Christy Markel and Robbie(Toni)Eichel and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
His grandparents, Leonard(Melvina)McKenzie and Billy Ray Cash died previously
