David L Gruver 63 of Ashland died Thursday Dec. 13, 2012 at Samaritan Regional Health System in Ashland.

He was born July 12, 1949 in Lodi, Ohio the son of Delbert and Vera (Messmore) Gruver.
He graduated from Black River High School in 1967.
He had been a police officer in Spencer. Also he had been employed at Ron Burge Trucking in Burbank. He was a member of the Jackson Grange # 2650.
David enjoyed his model railroad.
He is survived by children- James (Angie) Stover of Shiloh and Lynn (Roger) McGinnis of Wooster
Two grandchildren- Sully and Bailey
A sister-Fleeta (Gary) France of West Salem
His parents died previously.
