David E Adams

David E Adams, 57 of Wooster died Saturday February 17, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer, at home surrounded by the love of his family.

Funeral Service will be Saturday February 24, 2018  at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Floyd Costello          officiating.  Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the services. David was born January 20, 1961 in Wooster, Ohio  to Edgar & Juanita (Smith) Adams.

He was employed by Smith Foods in Orrville where he was well loved. David enjoyed going on cruises and taking vacations with his children and grandchildren.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He enjoyed white water rafting, canoeing and traveling to visit friends.

David attended Northwestern High School.

David will be greatly missed by his wife Karen L (Gerber) ,  sons, Jason L Adams of Wooster and Joshua M. Adams of Creston, grandchildren, Aleena M  Adams and Joshua M Adams Jr.,  siblings, Hazel (Louise) Pelfrey of Portsmouth and Kirby (Janice) Adams of Georgia,  sister-in-law, Eileen Adams of California and Sharon (Don) Erwin of Delaware, Ohio, brother-in-law, Randy (Tressa) Gerber of Georgia, Don Gerber and Jim Henry of Wooster; and  numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronnie; a sister, Ruby; a niece; and a  brother-in-law, Don Pelfrey.
