Daryl N Gray

Daryl N Gray, born on August 16, 1963, in Wooster, Ohio, passed away on May 19, 2026, in West Salem, Ohio. He was 62 years old.

Daryl graduated from Northwestern High School in 1982. He enjoyed woodworking and found great joy in babysitting his granddaughter, pursuits that reflected his patience and dedication.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 18 years, Rachel Ling-Gray, whom he married on May 1, 2008. He is also survived by three step-children and three step-grandchildren. His mother, Mary Kathern Gray of West Salem, remains a living link to his early life. Daryl’s siblings include Denise (Ron) Miller of Wooster, Daniel Caperton of Ashland, and Doris (Robert) Graber of Ashland.

Daryl was preceded in death by his father and his brothers: Douglas Gray, Don Caperton, and Denis Carperton. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
