Courtney A Kovacs

Courtney A Kovacs 22 of Wooster died Monday evening November 29, 2021 due to injuries sustained from an auto accident.

Courtney was born August 3, 1999 in Medina, Ohio the daughter of Patrick and Tracy (Shannahan) Kovacs.

She graduated in 2018 from Hempfield High School in Pennsylvania.

Courtney had previously worked at Koenig Korner and  was currently working at Walmart in Wooster.

She enjoyed her cats,crafting, painting anything that moved her and crocheting she was currently working on a Teddy Bear and a Hat. Courtney had many projects started.

She is survived by parents; Tracy (Todd Lycans) Kovacs and Patrick (Krystal Wolfe) Kovacs; brothers: Christopher and Austin Kovacs; niece; Chole Lycans: sister-in-law; Samantha Kurzenberger; grandparents; Jesse Ruoff, Kathie and Eddie Longnecker and Patrick Shannahan. Her brother, Brett Lycans and grandfather; James Kovacs preceded her in death.

Funeral Service will be Monday December 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Michael Lycans officiating. Friends  May call Sunday December 5th from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
