Cloyd (Bud) H Rogers

Cloyd (Bud) Rogers 75 of West Salem passed away on Wednesday March 26, 2025 at Burbank Parke Care Center in Burbank.

He was born September 3, 1949 in Lodi to parents Carl and Eloise (Kreiger) Rogers.

Bud graduated from Black River High School in 1968. Then he was drafted to serve in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He retired in 2009 after 41 years of being a dedicated employee at Fuhrman’s IGA in West Salem where he was the produce manager.

Bud was a simple man. He enjoyed mowing lawns, watching wrestling and helping anyone in need. Bud was an avid Ohio State Fan.

He is survived by his wife Pam (Trukovich) Rogers whom he married on July 3, 1971, daughters; Amy Newman( Brian Leiby)and Tina (Paul) Lambert, grandchildren; Scott Hall, Shawn Newman, Cortney (Andrew) Mullins and Chase Lambert, a great grandson; Theodore Mullins, brother; Charlie (Deana) Rogers, many nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.

Bud is preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Carl Rogers.

Memorial Service will be April 5, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m. at the James Stevenson American Post 499, 337 Congress Street, West Salem. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences, picture or memory of Bud may be left for the family at www.mattesonfh.com
