Clarence (Denny) Reed, 83 of Polk died Tuesday morning at his home.
Funeral Services will be Friday October 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Red Haw United Methodist Church with Pastors Layton Broome and Jennifer Darling-Mellott officiating.
Friends will be received Thursday evening 5:00 to 8:00 at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem and one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Red Haw Cemetery where military services will be conducted by James Stevenson American Post 499 of West Salem. He was born May 2, 1934 in Polk, Ohio the son of Arthur and Mary (Smith) Reed.
He served in the US Army and was a member of the Red Haw United Methodist Church. Denny was owner and operator of Denny Reed Milk Hauling for 48 years.
Denny is survived by his wife, Joyce (Culler) Reed whom he married May 25, 1989, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
His parents, a son, three daughters, 3 brothers and 3 sisters died previously.
