Clarence Ray Chapman 61 of West Salem died Wed. Oct. 3, 2012 at his home.
Memorial services will be Monday Oct. 8, 2012 @ 11:00 a.m. at the West Salem United Methodist Church with Pastor Patricia Lintela officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Greater Wayne County, 2525 Back Orrville Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691 or Wayne Co Veteran Services, 356 West North Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691. He was born Aug 28, 1951 in Crummies Creek, West Virginia the son of Curtis and Lea (Chapman) Daniels.
He graduated in 1969 from Nordonia High School.
He served in the US Navy where he received the National Defense Service Medal.
He retired in 2000 from CF Motor Freight where he worked in maintenance.
He is survived by his wife Melanie (Bingham) Chapman whom he married Dec. 12, 1976.
A son- Earl Ray Chapman of West Salem
Parents- Curtis and Lea Daniels of Homerville
And a sister Cherrie (Reger) and Greg Watson of Ellet, Ohio
