Christopher M Wright

Christopher M. Wright, 50 of West Salem died Wednesday August 17, 2022 at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland after a sudden illness.

Chriss was born March 13, 1972 in Wooster the son of Robert and Linda (Crebs) Wright.

He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1990.

Chriss was a former member of the Town and Country Fire Department. He was the owner and operator of CMW Welding. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, welding, playing cards, golfing, music and spending time with his family. Chriss was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.

Chriss is survived by his children; Brittany and Clay Wright of Lancaster, Pa., his father; Robert (Carol) Wright of West Salem, brothers; Mark (Mel) Wright of West Salem and Chad (Jackie) Wright of Grandville and nieces and nephews; Kelseigh, Luke, Josie, Harper and Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Linda Wright who died November 15, 2017, grandparents; James and Marge Wright and Ray and Dolly Crebs.

Memorial visitation will be Sunday August 21, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem.  Memorials may be given to the Matteson Funeral Home, P.O.
