Brenda (Richardson) Raines

Brenda Kay (Richardson) Raines passed away March 3rd 2025 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on May 16th, 1955 to Olga and Wilburn Richardson. She was a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend of God and Angels. She is survived by her Daughter Sara Maniscalco. Her brother Bill & wife Lynn, their children, Melanie, Bill & Doug & families; her sister, Diane Richardson Landis and her daughter Laura and family; sister, Carolyn Richardson (Rosa), Fred Collins and children Marlena and Katie, many great nieces and nephews and friends of the family Eddie and Maureen Stincic. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; sister; Janet Louise Richardson Collins.

Brenda retired from Metro Hospital in Cleveland, after many years of service. She loved writing, reading ,coffee, sewing, camping and music.  She loved dancing to We Are Family, with her sisters. Her greatest joy was raising her daughter Sara.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chad Palmer officiating the service, visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the service located at the Matteson Funeral Home, 40 Congress Road, West Salem, OH 44287.If you have a photo or a memory to share of Brenda with the family you may do so on the funeral home’s website.
