Bonnie L Yoho, 77 of West Salem died Saturday July 26, 2025, at her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on January 20, 1948, to parents Howard and Thelma (Bauman) Good.
Bonnie graduated from Northwestern High School in 1966. She married Charles “Chuck” Yoho on April 12th in 1969, he preceded her in death on February 11, 2011.
Bonnie grew up on a family dairy farm. She milked cows on other farms, until she started working at Lowe’s in Wooster until she retired in 2020.
Bonnie loved spending time with her grandkids. She attended Aukerman Church where she enjoyed her women’s group. She enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, riding horses in her younger years. Bonnie loved doing jigsaw puzzles, reading her Bible and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by her sons; Bill and Julie Yoho of West Salem and Mike Yoho of Polk, grandchildren; Katlyn Yoho, Emilee Yoho and Chloe Starcher, twin sister; Connie Bowers of Lattasburg and sister; Karen Shepard of Deerville, nieces; Nicole “Nikki” Boreman and Cindy Buckingham, a nephew; Charley Bowers, five nephews and six nieces, many great nephews and great nieces and three dogs; Smokey, Polly and Wolfie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Yoho, a son John Yoho and her parents.
Funeral Service for Bonnie will be Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastors Tadd Sponseller and Kenneth Thomas officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Yost Cemetery in Burbank following the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Ohio LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691 of American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
The family would like to thank LifeCare Hospice for all they have done. A special thanks to the volunteer Carol, nurses; Jolene, Christine, Chad, Brandy, Loretta and bath aide Katie, which she adored.
