Bernice M Root, 79, of Wooster died Wednesday March 23, 2016 at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster.
Funeral Services will be Saturday March 26, 2016 @ 1:00 p.m. at Mohican Church of the Brethren, 7759 North Elyria Road, West Salem with Pastor Paul Bartholomew officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Burial in Eight Square Cemetery in Chester Twp. Matteson Funeral is handling the arrangements. She was born August 29, 1936 in Wayne County the daughter of Joseph & Meda G (Imhoff) Sherrick.
She graduated from Northwestern High School. She was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed watching TV and eating ice cream.
She was a member of Mohican Church of the Brethren.
She is survived by her son, Ted Root of Wooster, a grandson, Broud Root and a sister, Florence(Howard)Kolp of West Salem
Her parents, husband Henry Roy Root whom she married May 9, 1959 and a daughter-in-law Tana Root died previously.
