Audrey L (Schmetzer) Grissinger

Audrey L. Grissinger 82 of Wooster passed away Nov. 27, 2011 at her home.  She will be reunited with her husband and son.

Funeral services will be Wed. Nov. 30, 2011 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor Christopher Cottrel officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday evening 5:00 to 8:00.
Burial in West Salem Cemetery.

She was born December 5, 1928 in Parma the daughter of Carl & Dorothy (Friedrich) Schmetzer.

Audrey was a Gold Star Mother.
She was co-owner with her husband Richard of Grissinger Trucking in Wooster until retiring in 1983.
She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge of West Salem.
She is a member of the James Stevenson American Post 499 Aux and the Congress Community Church.
She enjoyed her retirement at Marblehead and Haines City, Florida.

She is survived by three children- Cheryl Dunn and Debra Montgomery of Wooster and Rick & Becky Grissinger of Marengo, Ohio.
Five grandchildren Tom, Jim and Michael Dunn, Ryan (Chrissie) Grissinger and Keri (Russell) Myers
11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren
A sister Sue Ellen Stanley of Columbus

Her parents, husband Richard and son James Grissinger, brother Carl Schmetzer and a son-in-law William Dunn died previously.
