Ann V Macika 91 of Burbank died Monday July 16, 2012 at Kingston of Ashland.
Funeral Mass will be Sat. July 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in West Salem with Rev. James P Schmitz officiating. Friends will be received at the Matteson Funeral Home , 40 Congress Street in West Salem Friday evening 5:00 to 8:00. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.

She was born February 25, 1921 in Ernest, Pa. the daughter of Paul & Anna (Farach) Ledesky.
Ann had been employed for AT & T Phone Company in Cleveland for 30 years as a telephone operator.
She moved to Burbank in 1979.
She was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Ladies Guild of the church, Telephone Pioneers of America, Life member of Disabled Americas Veterans, and Life member of communication auxiliary of America AFL C10. She belonged to 50+, Senior Citizen Club in West Salem and TOPS. For 20 years she volunteered at the Bloodmobile where she worked on bags.
She is survived by three sons Ronald Macika of Burbank, Edward Macika of North Canton and James (Jane) Macika of New Orleans, LA., triple granddaughters and two step granddaughters.
Her parents, husband Edward J Macika whom she married in 1945 in Ernest, Pa died Aug 29, 1993 and a brother Andy Ledesky died previously.
