Andrea Lynn Nelson

Andrea Lynn (Miller) Nelson, 65, passed away on December 25, 2025, after several years of declining health.

Andrea was born on December 19, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Donald and Janice Miller. She attended Cloverleaf High School in Lodi, Ohio, and Medina County JVS, and went on to spend her life doing what she loved—working as a beautician. Andrea worked at many salons over the years, including The Hair Loft, where she built lasting relationships with clients and coworkers alike.

She was truly the life of the party. Andrea had a laugh you could hear across a room and a voice everyone recognized instantly. She brought energy, humor, and personality wherever she went, and people were drawn to her because she was unapologetically herself.

Andrea is survived by her three children: Tiffany (Brent) Cherry, Derek (Taylor) Locklear, and Brandon (Melissa) Locklear; and her grandchildren Maddy, Kelsee, Kaylee, Jacelyn, Chase, Owen, Jaxton, and Myla, who brought her great joy.

She will be remembered for her bold spirit, quick wit, and unforgettable presence.

Services will be held Friday, January 2, at Northwinds Church, 8691 West Easton Road, in West Salem, Ohio, at 5:00 p.m. Friends may call from 3:00–5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
