Shirley Baxter Obituary

Shirley E Baxter 82 of Burbank died Friday November 22, 2019 at Akron General Medical Center.

She was born May 6, 1937 in Lodi the daughter of Edward & Ethel (Patrick) Widenmeyer.

She graduated from Brunswick High School where she was  head majorette.

Shirley was a secretary for Medina Glass for 25 years and a Mary Kay consultant for many years.

She loved to go boating at Lake Erie and spending time with her family. She enjoyed gardening , making cards and pictures through stamping and watching hummingbirds and her grandchildren showing horses.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Robin (Larry) Schell of Mansfield, Pam (Herb) Wiles of Sullivan and Jackie (Bryan) Stull of Homerville, eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a sister, Carol (Larry) Croskey of Lodi and brother, Ernie Huffman and a dear friend Chuck.

Her parents and a sister Deloras Repjar died previously.

Memorial Service will be Saturday Nov. 30, 2019  at 1:00 PM at the Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with Pastor David Dake officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Memorials may be given to Jag Burbank Parke Care Center, 14976 Burbank Road, Burbank, Ohio  44214.  The family would like to thank the staff at Jag Burbank Parke and her care giver Lynn Farner.
